LAKELAND LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL STARTED IN 1955

LAKELAND LITTLE LEAGUE started in Twin Lakes, then moved to Silver Lake. 4 TEAMS STARTED and less than 20 years later - in 1973 the League had 10 teams. Tournament play began in 1970 and in 1971 they won the 1st District 6 Championship. The team went on to play in Wausau that year.

LAKELAND LITTLE LEAGUE SOFTBALL STARTED IN 1975

Both a Major (ages 9-12) and Senior Division (13-15) was started.
