Volunteers Needed

Good Afternoon Club Members,

Welcome to Lakeland Little Leagues Instructional division! Since 1955 it has been Lakelands mission to provide quality baseball instruction to the areas athletes! At the risk of getting long winded here Lakeland Little Leagues philosophy is that baseball is more than just a game. Between the chalk lines we can teach our youth important lessons that will make them successful later in life. We believe that we are ushering in a new era in youth sports, delivering a different message about what counts. We believe that baseball should teach resilience, humility, and stoicism as only baseball can! We believe that these three character traits comprise sportsmanship. We believe that as adults it is out responsibility to model humility in victory, stoicism and resilience in the face of defeat.

Since 1955 the driving force behind Lakeland Little League has been its volunteers. You don't have to be Bill Bean, Joe Maddon, or Craig Counsell to make a difference in an athletes life. All you need is a desire to help us craft a fun and memorable season for young athletes. Our enrollment numbers would indicate that a lot of people agree with out philosophy! This realization is fantastic but without our life blood of volunteers we are unable to deliver on our vision. Even the expert was a beginner at some point and I would like to extend to you the opportunity to join our movement. We badly need team managers as well as a division manager.
