In Memoriam
Timothy (Tim) Harold Grey, age 57, sadly passed away on the morning of January 2, 2021 in Salem, Wisconsin. He was the son of the late Jack Grey and is survived by his mother, Joyce Grey Wilmoth, and his step-father, Euel Wilmoth. He was born on March 27, 1963 in Grundy, Virginia. He was the younger brother of Debbie Mitchell (Keith). On October 13, 1984 he was united with his soulmate, Penny Link Grey, and they enjoyed 36 years of bliss together.
Tim was an amazing “Girl Dad” to his three daughters, Hollie Anderson (Tony), Andrea Grey, and Morgan Grey (Nick Jubelt). His granddaughters Audrey Anderson, Eliza Anderson, and Kinsey Hardisty, gave him much joy and kept the kid in him alive. Tim was a spiritual man and a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved serving God, his friends and family, and his community. Tim graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and remained a Boilermaker fan through his life. He was the Senior Director of R&D Quality Assurance at AbbVie and was very dedicated to his work. Tim loved music, especially The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and other classic rock, and loved his record player and vinyl collection. Tim was a big sports fan and his favorite teams were the Dodgers, the Pacers, and the Colts. Tim never failed to help someone in need or to make someone laugh when they needed it. He had an unmatched sense of humor.
Tim was a supportive and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and son. He was a bright light in his family’s life and will be greatly missed, yet fondly remembered. His spirit will live on through his family’s love.
